I attended the Bronx High School of Science and plan to attend Oberlin in the fall. I am interested in Japanese and law. I have studied abroad in Japan during summers and breaks and worked in high school as captain of the Moot Court and Mock Trial teams. I also was on the basketball team for 3 years.

I started Terra Firma Education with the goal of creating a Foundational SAT tutoring company that went beyond test-taking strategy and shortcuts, and taught the actual concepts that make up the test.

In addition, we’ve started sharing our expertise, through this blog, Facebook, Twitter, and plain old email. We want to provide a knowledge resource for not only our clients, but also other students who don’t have access to our services.

Terra Firma Education, LLC is NYC-based tutoring company emphasizes a Foundational approach to SAT prep, helping students learn the actual subject matter rather than rely on test-taking strategy or other shortcuts. For that reason, we do not accept students with less than 6 months to study for the SAT. Short-term cramming is useful when it is necessary; it’s just not part of our expertise.
